Noob here-I wasnt sure if this fits in the weekly beginner thread or not. Mods feel free to remove this. I just got this for $10 from pawn shop. If it’s even possible to tell from the photos, how much work needs to be done on it before it’s street worthy/reasonably rideable?

Sad to say but it’s trash, wouldn’t be worth fixing it up with aftermarket parts, etc.
Maybe save the tires?
This bike is what you see 45yr old crackheads riding to their hookup.
Not alot to add to what ranger said!
If you just want to go down the block, sure fix up the rust and breaks.
If you really want to dive in and learn freestyle tricks, i would look into getting a used bmx. Some of the used bikes are crazy quality for cheap.
Also a more modern bike will be easier to learn on.
But for now just make the bike rideable and enjoy. If you want to fix it and restore it maybe you can give it away to a kid in need after!
