Hi, so I started cycling around 3 months ago and got this Merida Ride 93 CF from 2013 for £230 and last week someone else was selling a set of carbon wheels for £175 (Miche Supertype 338) with tyres and cassette. So after some wrenching for a max spend of £450 (waiting on carbon appropriate brake pads) I got a cool looking bike, that fits me ( it’s a large and I am on the end of the size chart at 1.87m) , it’s light and feels really good. Please tell me to stop at bikes until I am fit enough to make sense 😅
