My float x2 started making this noise after a trip to the bike park. Probably less than 15 outings on the bike so far. Can anyone id the problem?
Bike is an Ibis HD6 so I assume a 2023 model shock. Is this a case of the known issues with the 21-23 model?

Sounds fine to me. A blown shock sounds like Mac n cheese. I’m on my 3rd Float X2

Your problem is that it’s an X2. Send it in for warranty.
The problem is that it’s an X2. Contact Fox and see what they think. They have been rebuilding a lot of these with updated internals to fix a few known issues. No clue what the zipper noise is, but it [ain’t right](https://youtu.be/0qwha-zEN8c?si=8BJk0W-jx6VpxwIq).
I had the same thing after. Service and actually sent it back twice to no avail. The shock (a 2021 model) finally blew up one day on the trail and fox replaced it with a 2024 under warranty.
Problem solved.
Turns out there was some design flaws including this noise.
