Hi party people! I’m a recent convert to gravel biking- love my road bike but I moved to a rural town with only like 3 paved roads, so gravel it is now! I love the fit of my bike (it fits very similar to my road bike) but I’m surprised at how awkward I feel sometimes. Washboard is the f-ing worst, I get out of the seat but its still skull-jostling, and even just opening it up downhill on a relatively smooth road makes my hands go numb. Tips or tricks? Also, cattle guards- just go for it? Lol I’m a complete amateur. (Also, I’ve never been into mountain biking. Maybe just need a pep talk about getting off the asphalt). Thanks!
