New to me bike is a 2019 Stumpjumper comp 29”. My original bike the 2011 specialized Pitch FSR pro 26” still does great, and picked up the 2009 Giant Reign X2 on a deal, it is also a blast. Now that I have ridden a more modern geo bike with 29” wheels I can confidently say. I have just as much fun on the old 26” bikes and would still recommend someone with low fund purchasing and older full suspension over a newer “modern” hardtail. The quality of the components on my older bikes are still as good if not better than most double the price hard tails. My personal opinion.

Love my stumpy. Not much on it is still original, but they’re great bikes!
