Right so I could pedal without me wheel turning. I thought I needed a new XD driver body ( is that the right wording? The bit the spins inside the hub ). So I thought the pawl was the problem ( the inside bit – sorry not tryna mansplain, but just Incase my wording is wrong) and the ratchet was fine.
But it appears the ratchet is moving with it. But that bit it meant to stay with the wheel right? So can I order a new bit for the middle of the hub?
Like I don’t know the terminology, but I don’t want a full wheel rebuild, but just replace the parts inside the hub.

Your hub is dead, yes. The ratchet/drive ring separated from the hub shell. These are pressed in and generally aren’t meant to be replaceable.
From the looks of it, she has had a good life. Time to replace. Couldn’t be a better time to have to buy a new part. Deals on everything right now.
