First video shows it rubbing but the cassette only moves when the axle is loosened under the torque spec. When it’s tightened all the way the chain is so pushed against the frame the bike can’t even pedal, do I need a spacer to put between the cassette? It’s a sram rival 12s cassette and the bike is definitely capable of taking a 12s because I have a gravel wheel set for the bike that works just fine. Any help would be very appreciated I am completely out of ideas here

  1. I would compare the two wheel sets, specifically the drive side end caps.

Also, are you installing the wheel correctly? on every bike I own you torque the drive side axle nut BEFORE installing the wheel and don’t need to touch it when changing wheels. You just install the wheel, side in the axle and torque it down from the non-drive side.
