I wanted a beater bike to leave at the in laws while we’re visiting and I found this kissena for $500. It was too big for the previous owner (hence the seat post cut so low), but it was my size, I had a extra set of wheels, and so it would suit my needs perfectly.
Anyway, I make the deal and come to realize these are NJS dura ace 7710s and a s-works power carbon saddle. With these parts I paid like half? what you could get parting it out.
Seller was well aware of the value and just needed it gone. He was a real buttoned up 9-5 kind of guy, I’d be shocked if this was anywhere near stolen.
Really happy with this one. Couldn’t ask for more out of a beater. Can’t wait to build it up

So lemme get this straight….the previous owner bought this ridiculously expensive frame, realized it was too big for him, and then hacked off half the seat post???? Jesus Christ, I don’t understand people. Just sell the frame and get a properly sized one. It lost a lot of value the moment they cut it.
