Had my first bump with another bike this morning. An old dude on his big heavy steel box bike “crashed” me front-to-front. His wheel bumped mine and ruined my disk.
It happened in like walking speed. No fall. He just didn’t stop. Definitely on purpose, like, making a statement. He had room to avoid me but decided to crash me instead.
Had to take off the wheel and walk 35 min to a shop, front wheel in hand, bile standing rolling on the back wheel on the other.
My Chester pedals hit my ankles several times during the fun walk, that was not nice let me tell you haha.
In the shop, we changed the disk to a shitty cheap one, and tested the wheel. Apparently nothing. Wheel spins fine, no bending. But I do hear some friction between the disk and the break pads, so I suppose I need to adjust that a bit just in case.
Anyway, just venting here. All good, have a nice day y’all!

Sorry this has happened to you.
If you just brought the wheel to the bike shop, I suggest you to check the fork and the frame in the headset area for possible cracks or buckling. The hit must have been relatively hard to bend the rotor like that.
