Title pretty much, now these expensive aero bars are pretty much junk and I had to spend all day dealing with integrated bar crap, managed to go without changing the brake hoses at least. Also I'm glad they didn't crack while riding.

This is all my own doing as I was in a rush to start riding and didn't think. Oh also a torque wrench is never a bad thing, especially when you start working with carbon.

Back to ol' trusty allu bars while I muster the courage to go to the bike shop so I can order some new bars and a hose change while they laugh at my competence!

Yeah if I owned a carbon bike, I flat out wouldn’t work on it without a torque wrench. Not on parts that can be damaged if not torqued correctly anyway. Hope you’re not out of pocket too much!
