I keep breaking spokes on these WTB STI wheels. Have replaced 6+ on the back wheel in the last year. I like the frame+belt drive, but need the wheels to be stronger. I’m a heavy guy, working on loosing weight so don’t suggest that!! Need stronger wheels to rebuild this hub into. Thoughts?

Where does it break? At the ends (nipple/threads or J bend) or in the middle?
Get a 36 spoke wheel so more spokes take the load.
The /r/wheelbuilder community is very divided between butted (thick at the ends, skinnier throughout) vs straight spokes. Butted spokes are 2-3x the cost though.
