The Chili Enduro Series, organized across multiple European countries, seemed interesting to me, so I decided to travel for almost seven hours to get to Germany and ride one of the rounds. This one was organized in MTB Bike Zone Geisskopf – a bike park in Bavarian forest. With a fast chairlift, camping, showers, and bike wash, this was one of the better-equipped bike parks I was in. Also, there are so many trails that you can have a good time. The race itself was expensive (179€ starting fee), but it was organized well. There were eight stages for the official race, a prologue on Friday and a pro stage, which was optional. I had time to ride all of them on Friday and rode five of the race stages on Saturday, but I had to go home on Sunday as, unfortunately, I got COVID. Regardless, I had a blast and will come back to the bike park as the trails are awesome and well-built, with minimal braking bumps.
