Title: Phone Mount for CP0045 Cockpit on Grail CF SL 7 – Compatibility Question
Hey, I'm looking for a phone mount for the CP0045 cockpit on my Grail CF SL 7. Specifically, I'm considering something like this: SP CONNECT Micro Stem Mount SPC+.

Does anyone know if this would fit on the bike? I'm not entirely sure if it's meant to be mounted on top of the head tube or if it replaces part of the headset. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

It doesn’t look like this replacement part is the same shape as the stock one is . I also wouldn’t recommend using your phone as your primary H.U.D.
I’ve known a few people who have used their phones and they either
1) drop their phones
2) crash and damage their phones
3) the feedback from the pavement can knock cameras loose and the aperture stops functioning properly.
I would instead find a GPS unit (wahoo, garmin , etc. ) and keep my phone in my jersey pocket or the car .
I use Quadlock and it works great for me. The case is also awesome.
I tried to screw it directly to the stem but I gave up when I couldn’t find a long enough flathead M3 (iirc) bolt that could screw my quadlock holder to my stem. So I just mount it to the bar with the provided rubber gaskets and backup zip ties.
