  1. It’s amazing how much more exciting a sprint is when riders hold their line. Boxing others out is for a rider with diminished confidence in their abilities.

  2. Ok lets talk about the elephant in the room. is a short tour and the first two stages are in Holland, which doesn't even share a land border with France. What no flat land in France? 67KM? was this a time trial?

  3. Odd when Kool used to lead out Weibes she was tops at finding right position but riding for herself does not seem to be quite as good and these 2 races Rachele Barberie has done a great job but Kool has chose to go her own way not saying it was wrong but interesting.

  4. Incredible recap, LR. Every flat sprint should get this level of detailed analysis. Also, why did Kool go left to the other side of Wiebes? Seemed extremely risky, as she almost chopped Vos and the barrier looked open.
Also, the Uno-X train brought the DSM train back up, so another stage that SD WORX can blame on Uno-X. Uno-X are just straight SDWorx assassins.

  5. So glad to see the TDF Femmes is on again. I didn’t think it would happen because there was another women’s race during the men’s TDF and the Olympics as well.

  6. Lanterne Rouge: "Sprinters Will Risk Going into the Barriers to Win"
Uh, Lanterne, that's one of the definitions of a pro sprinter. Don't expect any different from women's sprinters!
