Oops.. I intended to ask the following question at the end:
What is the last tool you broke, and how much of a superhuman did you feel like when you did it???
I broke a 3/8 to 1/4 socket adapter with my ‘big’ torque wrench.
I like my 1/2” drive one. I put the rattle gun on it and pull the trigger.
But in your case maybe some PB Blaster first.
That frame said “you ain’t taking my bottom bracket today!!”
This is when you say “maybe the bb is fine anyway” and try to sneak some grease past the seals

At this point you have 3 options:
a) Split the cup in two with a beefier tool, leaving the threaded part inside.
b) Split the BB shell in two (mostly steel frames).
c) Discover the Italian origin of your cycle, and implications of this fact =D
