Hi guys,
I am new biker planning to buy Canyon Grizl CF SL 8 1by gravel bike ( https://www.canyon.com/en-gb/gravel-bikes/adventure/grizl/cf-sl/grizl-cf-sl-8-1by/3697.html ). I want to have universal bike that I will use on road as well as on gravel terrain. Consider me as newbie, no group rides/races yet.
I definitely do not want MTB, and I want to explore countryside, ride on pavements, cycle path, roads, … Thats why I chose gravel bike.
My main concern is having 1by front gear in road setup. Can someone please tell me if having 12×1 gear will limit me on the road? What/when/how will it be limiting as opposed to having 2by front gear?
