Hello r/CanyonBikes
I was cleaning up my torque today and noticed a pivot bolt was very loose. I went to tighten it back down and I can not get it to thread into the other side of the triangle. Before doing this I took all pressure out of the rear shock and I tried to support the weight of the bike's rear while attempting to tighten the bolt. Has anyone else ran into a similar issue?
Is this bolt cooked?
Is my triangle cooked?
Am I just an idiot?
How hot should I expect my credit card to get?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you all!

UPDATE:
the answer is I’m just an idiot.
Took off the rear tire. Cleaned all the treads really well and regreased. Then I was able to get the bolt to thread through the triangle while not putting the bolt through the frame as a test. Test went well, aligned everything up all nice, stuck my hex wrench fully into the bolt and she went in real nice.
