As I mentioned in my original post I was going to do complete brake maintenance, many people asked me how the wear on the pads was and here’s a picture of them. Is this normal wear on the pads?

You mean the lower edge? It’s designed like that to help the wheel/rotor find the caliper

There’s zero wear visible on those pads.
