tire bead popping into position maybe? Does it consistently continue popping, or was it something that happened as you reached higher pressure and has since stopped? The latter is normal, and something you want to happen.

If you’re referring to a sound while inflating first time after mounting: normal.
If you refer to some sort is tear appearing in the tyre: not normal (dry rot)

Those are hookless wheels Do not put them at 100 psi. I’m pretty sure the max on those are 85 and tubeless 70
