  1. It’s technically a scrub but… Indeed in a more fashionable way and less so functional.

Most importantly you have to lean the bike over and NOT gain traction during the middle of the maneuver. And most people don’t realize how much lean it takes, what that lean feels like, and thats why they just end up OTB basically

For practice… I would just work on both manny pop techniques in some way or another. So like… If you have a roller or small chill table. Instead of airing it or whatever you just barely pop it and tap your rear wheel in a manual or front wheel in a nozzie on the ‘deck’ in the middle. All held STRAIGHT. No lean or ‘turn’ yet

Once you have that, now you need to learn the air element, which is kinda funny cuz its like… a shitty whip. You want to lean the bike over a bit, push the rear end out, but you have the nose high and tail low. I always tell people to learn euro/downside tables (the best type of scrub). When people scrub like [THIS](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp8tWHRKzps)… Its basically a euro table.

Learning how to lean over is crucial. If you can’t lean the bike well you probly shouldnt bother with the manny scrub trick. And then from there you piece all that together.

  2. Scrub, and it’s impossible to teach someone via text. It’s just something you gotta feel out on your own, otherwise any tips won’t really make any sense.
