  1. That is not a Shimano hub. To know whether you can correct the issue, you will need to identify if it has cartridge bearings (not adjustable but can be replaced, albeit with relatively expensive tools) or loose balls in races (adjustable, but may be damaged beyond repair).

  2. Hub needs adjusting, and possible overhaul from damage riding it loose.

    Edit: please don’t do this yourself. Have someone teach you in person first.

    correction: it’s not a Shimano hub, this one of those Chinese Novatec hub carbon wheels I got years ago
