So my rear derailleur broke. It was fixed on my bike by the hook the upper hand is holding. It isnt like a typical hook, seems funky. Any idea what new derailleur i should get? I have not been able to find anything similar. Thank you so much!

That is a derailleur hanger – specific to the frame. Undo the 6mm bolt closest to your right hand, reattach the hanger to the frame and new rd will bolt right on. If the hanger is damaged wheels manufacturing or betd will probably be able to help you with a new one if the frame manufacturer cant.
Tell us what frame/year your bike is and we can help narrow it down. Also your derailleur might be fine but that hanger is definitely dead. Unless you can see the cage if your derailleur is bent pretty bad
