I mainly do cross country and sometimes mess around with some gnarly stuff. My budgets in the 2000$C range. A 10-51 cassette is a must, dropper post is also very important. My current problem is that if buy either Canyons or trek i will have to buy new tires, and my problem with giant is that it feels like a rip off(in-house suspension, no dropper post, nothing really special)
