Bikepacking in Greece, Athens – North Peloponnese

So I decided to take my first bikepacking trip, starting from my home in Athens and taking a scenic route across the Corintian gulf. It is a relatively easy route, mostly flat, next to the sea.

The only challenge ofcourse is the schorging heat. Between 12.00 and 18.00 it is almost impossible to ride.

I started with a tent, but soon ditched it at a friend's house in the middle of the journey. Sleeping on the beach at this time of the year, just a mat and a sleeping bag is all you need.

5th day now, so far so good!
