Installed new Michelin DH22 and DH34 tires today and saw that 34 was already leaking on multiple spots like on the video. Sealant wasnt in at this point. DH22 wasnt leaking like this even without sealant. After adding sealant 34 seems to be holding air but just out of curiosity is this normal on new tire?

Some tyres, especially the thin and supple ones, do leak on arrival and require a coating of sealant to eventually stop leaking. I personally would just roll with it.
Sometimes if they are like this after you have rode it a couple of times it helps to top up the sealant
Kinda unrelated, but what size are those tires and what kind of bike uses them?
I read recently that it’s a good idea to clean the manufacturing residue from the inside of a new tire to make it easier for the sealant to stick. e.g. with ipa
Fill it. Spin it. Send it.
If those are a DH casing tire they should not be leaking and bubbling through the tread. Sidewalls maybe but seeing as DH casing are usually the thickest and most resistant to puncture they shouldn’t be leaking.
Unless they’re DH as in the tread profile but a trail casing
Pump it up towards max psi and go ride around for a bit and let er chill over night. Deflate to your preference and then go ride. If it’s still an issue then rinse and repeat.
Watch any of the hundreds of Youtube videos that guide you through the tubeless process and they will all tell you that you need to ride the new tires a while before they seal completely.
Moar sealant.
Gave them a little ride, full send on bikepark in the weekend! 😎 I write some update later. Thanks to everyone!
I have had this issue with all Michelin tires. In my experience they do not get better with age/sealant. You just need to top them off with air every ride.
This seems insame also new to tubeless but mine second hand were flawless like took 4-6 months to feel soft, I generally find after a month or so I re pump them a little tho, I like 40psi*
and after a year or so I took em off and topped with sealant and popped back zero leak, I was amazed but also seems like maybe you got an issue with your setup… or I’m very lucky
Thas what the sealant is for. Ride it.
