seems like an early 2000s bike. if its in good condition, maybe 250-300 would be a better price

  2. That bike is made of Columbus Foco, a quality high-end steel. Nicer riding stuff than anything Surly has, and most of All City too. A modern comp gets into Ritchey territory — $1k and up just for the frame. Negotiate down to $300 and snap it up.

And with strong emphasis: make sure the bike fits. It looks to be 54cm/medium, which should be okay if you’re 5’7” to 5’11”, but test ride it. If it isn’t comfortable, pass. An ill fitting bike, no matter how high end, risks your posture/knees.

note: Foco has thin walls, which contribute to the nice ride, but avoid banging it on things
