I love how this lizard skin tape looks. It turned nice.
I see a a couple spots for improvement next time…especially under the hoods, I could have wrapped it one more time before coming up…hopefully it lasts and doesn’t expose part of the bar, it looks like there might end up being a gap between the tape. I like how it turned out for a first time, and trying not to let myself indulge in perfectionist bit picking too much.
Does it look like another wrap under the hood would have been best?

Not bad for first time. When you get to the hoods, there is a sort of figure 8 pattern you do in that area. If you look up videos, it will give you an idea of how to work around the hoods.
