Going to Whistler for a week and contemplating on changing my rear DHR out. Not sure if it’ll last a week at Whistler

Yes. I usually change my tires out well before they get that worn.

As long as the rubber isn’t dried out it, looks fine to me. I’ve seen enduro pros with more worn out rear tires than that.

Go by feel not by looks for treadwear.

That’s about my comfort zone, and if I had a trip planned I would 100% swap that out in advance. If I were riding home trails I might be tempted to push it til I regret it but not when it is going to spoil a trip

Do you really need tread on the rear tire anyways?
On the one hand, congrats on riding that tire to the absolute limit. It would probably survive, but you won’t get as much grip out of it with the rounded off blocks and perishing compound. A new tire will make you happy.

Looks fine. Run it till it causes your braking to break loose early and the the integrity is fine side knobs look like they have good edges.

Start turning left to even out that wear a little 😉

Id keep running it just a little longer if i was just riding my local stuff. Park day or a big ride? Change it for sure. Tires are the only thing that should be touching the ground, doesnt get more important than that.

If I was riding that at Whistler for a week, this would be [my face](https://as1.ftcdn.net/v2/jpg/00/26/35/66/1000_F_26356614_lUktFPqBJSupno7xp5fuDIkMEi1d1Nud.jpg) the whole time. I would also need to [change](https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Small_Chocolate_Fountain.JPG) my baggies.
