Welcome to the Carbon Neutral Sports Clubs Network, a pioneering initiative dedicated to sustainable sports management and climate action.
Thanks to the support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, this initiative is making waves across Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Serbia, and Turkey, inspiring small sports clubs to embrace sustainability.

In Sofia, the Bulgarian Sports Development Association has spearheaded 5 local actions with sport clubs, demonstrating the impact of sustainable sports practices.

Sports clubs are vital to our communities. By integrating environmentally friendly management practices, these clubs can significantly reduce their carbon footprint and set a positive example.

Our project follows a strategic plan: developing a Climate Footprint Measurement Program tailored to sports activities, implementing this program as a pilot in participating clubs, creating a Carbon Footprint Measurement Application for broader use, and establishing a network of sports clubs dedicated to sustainability.

Carbon Zero activities span various eco-friendly initiatives, such as using recycled materials, installing energy-efficient lighting, promoting bicycle use for daily operations, and organizing community-engaging planting events.

Collaboration is at the heart of our mission. By joining the Carbon Neutral Sports Clubs Network, clubs and NGOs across Europe can exchange best practices, track their progress, and amplify their environmental impact.
Together, we can make a significant difference. Join us in our quest to integrate sustainability into sports, creating a healthier planet for future generations.
