Fake Bianchi. But it has a nice powder coat. Looks like a bike that was worth $100 got a $200 paint job. This bike has stamped lugs, maybe someone else can ID them but they’re not forged like a real 1984 Bianchi would have. These decals with the blue and gold wing next to ‘Bianchi’ are 1984 only but the real ones didn’t have a white outline. The decal on the seat tube is also backwards compared to how they would have originally been put on. Also its not Columbus tubing thats just a sticker. You didnt really get ripped off but its not a real bianchi.

  2. It’s a real Bianchi, but with those particular frame details I doubt whether the Columbus decal is correct. It looks like a late 70s mid-range bike, not bad at all, but 300 Euros was perhaps a bit much.

Well, it’s obviously repainted and the stickers are poorly done. It’s not a higher end bike. Bianchi actually had a wide range of frames including some lower end ones, by which I mean to say, it could be a lower end or mid level Bianchi dressed up to look like a nicer one, or it could be a random frame that’s not a Bianchi at all. It almost certainly doesn’t have Columbus tubing. I can’t say based on these photos exactly what it is.

Something looks wrong with the top of the headset. Can you provide a better photo from the front of the top of the frame where it meets the silver?
