Both are rim brakes, and the Contend 1 is about £50-100 cheaper. The Contend 1 has only been ridden a handful of times, whilst the SL2 is still in good condition but been used more frequently.
Am I better opting for the newer Contend 1 and all that brings, or is the SL2 superior with its tiagra groupset?
