Why would a hotel prevent you from taking your bike up to your room?

If you forgot your lock, had a flat or for any other reason had to ride your most precious bike somewhere you rather wouldn’t; the trick to *always* be able to bring it with you is to **not** ask for permission.
People just assume you’ve already established some sort of permission or maybe they don’t give a rats bottom. Occasionally someone gives a compliment.

Always the dilemma. Upgrade your ride and make it ride great, but risk making it even more tempting for thieves.
