Bad idea, when you brake your have to have all the control of your bike because it moves. and when you go on the aerobars you dont have control. Its worst. When you go on the aero position you have to be sure you are are in a safe aera to go aero (like a road far of the city).
put a brake on the base handlebar for emergency, buy brake hoods for the drops or TT brake levers for bullhorns.

  2. I just don’t know how effective it would be with your weight that far forward. On your rear wheel it’ll just slide and on the front you’ll just get tossed over.

  3. I ride my bike as a form of workout so I don’t have any issues with this because I ride almost exclusively in a certain area. I have a weak core and have been planking to strengthen it, but if I wasn’t jobless atm, I’d probably look into this because I’d rather keep riding than having to stop to rest/adjust my cake and hands (for now, at least). 😔

I’ve tried to use front brakes on tops of a 90s triathlon handlebar and the first crossroad a mf cut me I went over it.

Def a bad idea, just use it on the flat part of the drop or buy the ones that go at the end of it
