Could be the geometry of the velodrome – different velodromes have different length straights and bends and different gradients on the banking.
3×3 is not exciting to “you guys” because its not a cake walk to the hoop like it is in the nba. 3×3 is super physical and to neutral basketball observer like me it feels more like rugby with a hoop to score at. It is a FIBA product and as such is designed to put the US at a disadvantage. Sure US would dominate if they could assign their best players to it. But again that will never happen.
