My big ring is really worn down. Would it make a noticeable difference to upgrade the whole crankset instead of just replacing the chainring? FSA AGX Omega on a 2022 Giant Revolt Advance 2. From what I can find, nothing else is compatible, so that would mean also replacing the BB, which would mean sending it to a shop, as I don't have the tools to for that.

The only thing you are going to change about a crankset (besides the chainrings) is the weight, stiffness, and power meter capability. No significant difference will be had here unless your cranks suck or the crankset is insanely heavy.
Cranks are one of the least cost effective ways to upgrade your bike. There’s a negligible difference in performance between the cranks on an $800 bike and an $18,000 bike. Good chainrings are worthwhile though. Wheels, tires, seat, bar tape/grips, brakes are cost effective improvements to bikes. Headsets, cranks, stem, front derailleur are not cost effective improvements.
Just checked online these chain rings are like 50eur per, much more cost effective than changing the crankset
Those aren’t chainring teeth, those are chainring gums.
On a serious note those should be replaced, im surprised theres not a lot of noticeable play between the teeth and the chain at this point.
Also, you don’t need need a new set. Heck even the inner chainring looks fine. Just get the outer.

Replace your large chainring my friend, this will make s significant impact.
To your question: stiffness and weight, mostly not noticeable from a certain point. I’d keep it or invest in wheels, tires or you tubes instead
I’ve seen 70 year old meth heads with better teeth. You need to replace them regardless of whether it’s an “upgrade”
