Need a new kickstand, any advice where to source and how to replace it? The previous owner appears to have sawed it off for some reason and the ones I’m finding on Specialized website or Amazon don’t seem to be the same style. Specialized support said to take it to a shop but i want to try to DYI.

The previous owner likely cut it flush because it kept falling down and they couldn’t figure out how to take it apart. If you really want a new stand, you’re likely best off looking for an aftermarket one that clamps to the chain stay.
Previous owner needed to watch this video, as should you, because you will be able to get rid of the remainder… and then find a replacement from a similar junked bike:
