So I got back into cycling about a year ago. I picked up the Grail and have loved it. I currently have 32 GP5 slicks on it and have never ridden it on gravel. We do not have gravel anywhere near where I live and with two young kids the odds of me traveling to ride are slim at the moment.
I recently picked up the Endurace to try out and compare the two since I haven’t really been making use of the Grail as a gravel bike. Now I can’t decide which to keep 🤔
Pros/cons:
I like the 105 gearing on the Endurace better for where I ride (flat, coastal NC – no hills but lots of wind).
The Endurace is 1.5lbs lighter but it will likely be less of a difference with both of them running the same tires.
The Grail has more versatility even though I may not need it at the moment.
The Grail looks better IMO, the colorway and flared bars are just more badass looking 🤪
I like the feel and performance of the 105 over GRX but it may be negligible with a quick tuneup on the Grail.
What do you all think? Am I losing any performance with the Grail on road compared to the Endurace? Is the Endurace a better option for only road riding or is the Grail just fine?
When I compare my times and speeds on Strava they seem very similar so I am not sure the Endurace is really much different although I may need to do a quick back to back test to really compare them.
Thanks everyone for the help, I have found lots of great info from this group.

Both have 2by gearing it appears. I would keep the grail for the bigger tire clearance. You dont lose speed and it is far more comfortable.
I went from 42s on my grail to 30f/32r on my endurace… and the ride is noticeably harsher on bad roads 🙁
I would keep the Grail for the additional tire clearance and is a smoother ride on rougher roads. The bikes are close to the same geomtery just the grail has larger tire clearance.
32mm sucks on most gravel, I know from experience. I still ride a Felt F75X from 2012. Eventually I’ll upgrade… but I don’t feel like spending thousands right now when I only ride a few times per week if that.
