So I got the bike off Nextdoor for $40, needed a tube for the front, new seat post clamp, and I thought it was missing blue bar tape. Then I learned that bike tire tubes don’t have one universal valve, and had to pick up Schader adapters for said tubes. $45 spent between Amazon and Walmart and I think I’m ready to go. Took it for a few quick laps around the neighborhood this morning and I’m excited to get everything adjusted to my liking and riding more. Is there anything I should be on the lookout for with regards to buying a used bike like this?
I like the take on mixing those colours, gives it a “Lego Look” or something like that. But i think the frame should be more colorful then 😀
Anyway, nothing wrong with buying a 40$ bike, like, whats the worst that could happen? 🙂
