Hi I am looking to get my first racing bike, I am planning to use it for daily commuting around 6km and some short tours occasionally in the weekend. My budget would be around 700-1k Euro. I am currently looking at these 2 options :
A: used cube attain sl 2022 for 950euro
B: brand new triban rc500 for 700euro
I have done some research and it seems like the Shimano 105 is a much better gear set than Shimano Sora and the cube bike also comes with hydraulic disc break which is a huge difference according to what I read around. What would you recommend as a first bike for someone new? Also open to any other suggestion that is within 1k price point new or used. I am based in Germany.
