Just rode another 22.3 miles today on the Fuji and it was way nicer than my last ride! Raising up the seat and handlebars really improved the fit and ride quality. I rode through Rockville, MD today and stopped by the local bike co-op, Rockville Bike Hub. I also got to see a sculpture of Walter Johnson and found a free washer in a crack in the road. Fun times.

Just for some perspective, in the late 70s that Fuji was everything the Peugeot U08 aspired to be. Alloy everything, a way nicer frame, mechanically superior in every way and way more of a pleasure to work on.
I don’t know why Fuji didn’t sell more of these.
