Found this old (early 80s?) Schwinn Le Tour 3 outside of my girlfriends neighbors house for free. Couldn't resist so I took it home. Very good shape but was slightly too small for me (thank God, because I have enough bikes).
I decided to give it away to this old man who lives in my neighborhood who I see riding a kids bike all over town. I stopped him the other day and asked him if he wanted it and he said no because he has no money. I told him it was free since I'd seen him on a kids bike and it looked uncomfortable. He was pretty stoked and I've seen him cruising around town on it!
Another bike saved from the trash heap and somebody's life got a little bit easier. Not too shabby.
