Looking for a bike to daily commute in a city, I know nothing about bikes, please help choose between these two

Hi, I am looking for a bike which I would use for daily commute in Amsterdam. I basically narrowed it to two used bikes. Would really appreciate if someone could recommend me which way to go. Thank you!!

Would the one with 8 speeds require substantially more maintenance? Which one would be comfortable to cycle? Which one is best price for quality?

Also, I am 197cm, is one of them a better fit for this height?
