Completely new to biking, was recommend by a local bike shop to opt for a gravel bike (which I had never heard of before) instead of a road bike.
I’m looking to mainly use it for solo biking and exercise throughout the Bay Area (east bay). So far, my research on beginner gravel bikes have led me to these two.
I’d really like to stay within this price range especially if upgrades are recommended. Would appreciate any input from anyone. Thank you!
