Hello guys, I want to buy an Aeroad. Being 183 cm with 90 inseam I am suggested to buy size M (top end in the sizing Chart next to size L). Since I have relatively long arms and legs I dont know if size M is correct here for me.
What do you think of me testriding size M in the pictures? For me it looks weird, but I have no experience on aeroad bikes or how they feel, since I’ve always chosen a bigger frame on comfortable gravel or endurance bikes (not Canyon). The L frame (no picture) also felt some kind of weird, it was just bigger.

It looks like you would benefit from the added length in reach of the Large. You could definitely add the distance as your arms are bent and you almost look like you’re leaning straight up. Then again what do you have your seat set to (measured from center of bottom bracket to the top of the seat. The photo isn’t the best quality so your seat could be set too low. For reference, I’m 6’2 34 inseam and I got the medium.

Follow the chart IMHO, I’m 185 and have an ultimate size L and feel like the M would have been a little better at some moments (long rides when I get tired being stretched out a little), but am still really happy with the sizing because 98% of the time its great. If you don’t follow the chart you might regret it later because you made a “stubborn” decision based on that little voice in your head instead of a data driven chart.

Why would you wear the backpack when testing a bike? It makes you less flexible and the fitting less accurate… but based on the pictures I’d probably go with the one from the pictures. Reach and position seem fine

Looks like a medium, it looks small on you

I’m exactly your size. M fits me like a glove.

we cant say because we can’t see where you sit. this is crucial to see where the saddle is placed and where you place yourself on the saddle

Looks a bit small to me.

I’m 188cm and ride a L. If I could I’d try go M and just have a longer slammed stem.
