Just watched this video on Edge Lane Roads, which was trialed in Mira Mesa, California. Honestly looks like they did it in the worst way possible on the wrong street entirely. I could see how this could work in very quiet suburban streets but to me, implementing this in most cities would be dangerous to both bikes and cars.

I remember reading about. Its like a stroad, it was a half-ass attempt to solve everything that ended up being terrible for everyone without solving the actual problem.
