Hi! I'm looking to buy my first "nice" bike. I've been doing quite bit of research and have landed on the Marin Nicasio and Marin Gestalt. Budget is $1000 and under.
I've been riding a vintage schwin (its probably 30 y/o) for the past 4 years. So I'm due for an upgrade. I'm not looking for anything too fancy, I will mostly be riding for exercise 10-30 miles, I do prefer drop bars hence the two above. Not sure how to choose between the two as i'm not very familiar with all the bike specs. I live in a city, and the roads arent great (lots of potholes) so would like something durable that will last. Any input would be great!
