Hi all, old man here with a 98 Mongoose Fuzz in the shed. I really want to fix it up for my kid to ride but I don't know what size everything is. I'm guessing 20” wheels but crank? Chain? Headset?

I can't actually seem to get the crank off or the headset. Is there anywhere I can find the specs for the bike so I know what I need to buy?

Used to ride 30 years ago but my dad did all the maintenance and he's dead now. Selfish bastard.

Cranks are one piece with reverse threads on the nut holding it on. Stem is prolly an allen key on the side and a wedge bolt on top. By the looks of the rust you are not going to have a good time getting these off. Almost every part on here is need of replacing. You would prolly be much better off getting a whole used bike off FB marketplace for what you would spend on this. Especially since these frames were not meant to take any abuse. Custom built quality bike have low resale so you can get a nice setup for a couple hundred bucks all day. Good luck
