I’ve built this bike on a budget out of a mix of new/ used parts… probably not done yet lmao

Back wheel(stay strong complete wheel) was bought new but after installing it onto a used frame and riding it a little I’ve noticed that it has a slight wobble side to side.

It’s tightened up and I’m fairly sure the wheels straight so I have no idea why it’s doing this?

Any help would be much appreciated! I just want my new bike dialled lol

  1. Edit: should clarify it’s not when it’s spinning like a buckled wheel.

It actually wobbles left to right if you grab it and shake it side to side.

Sounds like cone nuts(?) on your hub could be loose.theire purpose is to keep the hub in place on the axis/bearings. The nuts behind them that hold the wheel in place…. I hope you understand what i try to explain :s take the wheel out and check if you can turn them by hand, if yes ita definietly loose, if not try retigjten them. On both sides, but dont use too muxh force! one side ahould have 2 loosen the outer one tighten the inner one and then the outer one again.

Dont know how to explain it better on English i hope you understand 😡
