So I always wanted a big tire frame and state bikes 4130 now has big tire clearance and was only $300 a bargain I thought and it will clear 45s they say, but I had some issues myself with rando 45c tires the front fork will not clear a long reach brake with 45s, So I decided to order a surly crosscheck fork for $130 with v brakes and tons of clearance, Just though I’d inform people who want to buy this frame and run brakes, even the rear part of the frame would rub so I ground it down slightly, Other than big tire problems I’m liking this build can’t even feel the rough streets super comfortable. Anyone else run this frame have similar issues? Curious on your thoughts
