i have this creak in my bike thats driving me absolutely insane, i just cant find where the creak is coming from, i had a creak in my seat post which i fixed, then this came up, i cleaned and regreased and tightened the cassette, got a new chain, regreased the cranks, pedals, headset, the BB i regreased last season but the creak was still there as far as i remember, i suspect it being the spokes as the rear wheel has a bit of play in it when brake is applied, (i think its a loose centerlock rotor) but i sort of hear the same creak but not really though, its coming from the rear of the bike when pedalling, it doesnt change its sound when pedalling harder or slower or when going faster, just randomly creaks, what should i do.

Is your derailer aligned properly? Based on the work you’ve done it’s a stupid question I know, but I gotta ask.
Sorry to hijack, but how did you fix the creak in your seat post? I just put in a new dropper post and within 10 hours of riding, it has developed a very annoying creak when it’s not lowered all the way.
Video isn’t super clear. Creaks are often dirty suspension pivot points, dirty bottom brackets/frame, dirty stem/handlebar, rattling gear cables inside frame with internal routing. Strip and clean the bike, replace bushings/bearings if needed.
It can also be misleading where the creak is coming from because the sound can travel and bounce around the inside of the frame.
Make sure the chain is routing through the inside of this guide. If it’s on the wrong side of it, you will see it rubbing on it.

Do you get the sound when you simply spin the pedals with your hands with the rear tire raised off the ground?
Just had my Canyon neuron in for a headset creak. Mechanic let me know that Canyon likes to put plastic parts on the headset cup and parts of the BB, which has led to creaking. Replacement of the headset cup with all metal parts fixed it.
Had a really similar problem and I thought it was a slight movement in the RD when applying power but it was the freehub.
If you have another rear wheel or borrow your friends rear and spin with another rear wheel if sound still appears.. you isolated the problem
Linkage bearings?
if you have extra parts just keep swapping them until it stops and then fixate on the last thing you swapped when it goes away. There’s really no other good way to know.
